Who We Are
About Primo Woodworks
A Greater Victoria carpentry company built on hands-on experience and real pride in the work.
Built on hands-on experience
Primo Woodworks is owned by Jordan Marticotte and Shawn Dodge. Jordan leads the carpentry and Shawn runs the business side, so you get a skilled tradesperson on the tools and a partner keeping everything organized behind the scenes.
Meet Jordan Marticotte
Jordan’s passion for building began at an early age. He developed his skills across the Gulf Islands, working on a wide range of projects – from custom homes and outdoor spaces to leading finishing crews. He later brought that experience to Victoria, where he now creates custom projects and thoughtful renovations tailored to each client’s needs.
His commitment to quality is evident in every detail: tight joints, clean lines, and careful planning before the first cut. The result is precise, dependable craftsmanship – done right the first time.
“For me, carpentry is about more than just building something. It’s about bringing an idea to life and leaving behind work I can stand behind.”

Meet Shawn Dodge
Shawn is a lifelong business owner who has spent his entire working life in Greater Victoria, building and running local companies that serve homeowners, property managers, businesses and government clients across the region. Along the way, he has learned what people really want from a contractor: someone who shows up when they say they will, explains things clearly, prices fairly and treats their property with respect.
At Primo Woodworks, Shawn looks after the business side, keeping projects organized and making sure every client gets straight answers and regular updates. That leaves Jordan free to focus on the craftsmanship. It is a partnership built on a shared belief: do the job right the first time, and do right by the community you live and work in.
